Photo Rates for Surf Industry Clients
1. Rates are for
print ad use in SURFER, SURFING, TRANSWORLD SURF
and/or SURF EUROPE Magazines. Second insertions pay a 75% fee.
2. For all other
surf publications (U.S. and foreign) the rate will be 50% of rates listed.
3. For non-surf publications
the fee will be negotiated.
4. For specialty
photos (i.e. helicopter, camera board etc.) add 25% to water shot fee.
5. Fees are for specific,
non-exclusive one-time use and separation of photograph.
6. Color transparencies
and prints must be returned in the same condition they were
received. A fee of up to $2,500
(but not less than $1,500) will be charged for lost or damaged original transparencies.
7. Michael H Rogers
Photography assumes no responsibility for photos used without
model releases. It is the responsibility
of the advertiser to secure model releases for commercial use of any identifiable persons.
SPECIAL NOTES: - Any advertiser who uses photos obtained through
Michael H Rogers Photography is expected to inform us, either by mail or
phone, of any use. Failure to do so will result in a 300% increase in
photo rate.
- All photos must be accompanied by a photo credit.

The unlimited buyout option is available for those surf industry clients
who seek multiple uses. This fee covers all of the above categories with the
exception of non-surf industry print advertising.
J. SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENT RATES
Half and full-day rates for surf and commercial photography are available
upon.
